"As a child, I was often referred to as an old soul. I believe what that references is my calm, patient, and introspective nature. I've always been blessed with gifts of intuition, empathy, and listening. Early on in my career, I followed a path in entertainment. My undergraduate degree is in film studies and I've devoted much time to performing both music and comedy. As I got older, I found a deeper longing to be more of a service to others and help those who have been wounded find healing. This led me to get my Master’s in Counseling. My life has walked me down a less-than-ordinary path, which has taught me a great deal about the ways of human nature, suffering, and tenets for sustainable happiness.
I am happily married and the proud father of a one year old boy and future comedian. Being a father has been one of the most affirming experiences of my life. I'm the lead singer and guitarist for the band Motel TV"
